You’re on your way home from work, walk over the bridge and there is the most amazing light as sun sets over the river. But your mobile phone doesn’t do it justice and your main camera is at home.
You’ve just popped down to the local for a drink and that perfect moment catches your eye. But guess what, no camera.
How many times have you missed an amazing opportunity because you didn’t have a camera with you?
It used to happen to me a lot.
The picture at the top is the one that almost got away. I’d gone out for a social drink while on holiday when I spotted the sunset was going to look amazing behind the iconic Bamburgh Castle. On this occasion, I ran right back to our holiday let and grabbed all my gear.
I got back in time to take a couple of dozen shots before the light faded. I reflect on this incident when I think of leaving my kit behind.
Yes, sometimes it can feel like a drag carrying all that stuff. Just think of it as a free gym session :-) Good for the Cardiovascular system.
